Paper presented at IPSA RC09 meeting in Prato

Kálmán Pócza presented a paper at the IPSA RC09 meeting Democracy, Populism, and Judicial Power: Where to from Here? in Prato (Italy), 24-26 July 2019. The Principal Investigator of the JUDICON project focused on the politically salient issues reviewed by the Hungarian Constitutional Court and argued that judges’ political affiliation might have played an important role in constitutional adjudication of the Hungarian Constitutional Court even before the court-packing of the Orbán government before 2010 the court-packing of the Orbán government after 2010.
